NEW YORK, NY — Heavy metal fans are dusting off their vinyl today to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of RIOT!'s energetic live recording, Riot Live. Though the band later released a full-length album with the same title in 1989, it is the original, raw six-song live EP from 1982 that is commanding attention from dedicated metalheads.
Released on the Elektra label, the EP was recorded just as the band was making a transition, showcasing their newest line-up and heavier sound.
